'Final Fantasy XV' release date, rumors: 50-hour game to release this year

New exciting details have been unveiled regarding the fifteenth installment of the highly popular "Final Fantasy" video game series, which includes the anticipated extended gameplay for "Final Fantasy XV" and the resolution of the upcoming game which will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
"Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata shared the latest information in an interview with the Japanese magazine Famitsu via Gear Nuke, revealing that the video game has undergone further changes and development before coming up with a final gameplay. According to Tabata, "Final Fantasy XV" was originally planned to have 40 hours for the story, but after the final touches in the game, it will now take 50 hours for the players to complete the main game campaign mode of "Final Fantasy XV."
Aside from a lengthy 50-hour gameplay, Tabata also revealed that their development team decided to include Airships in "Final Fantasy XV" and they have finally come up with an idea to incorporate them in the gameplay. Cactuars were also confirmed to appear as the ruthless adversaries in the game. Tabata also revealed that the Cactuars in the story were made to become fiercer and strong enough to pose a challenge to the players so they cannot be easily defeated in battle.
Regarding the game's graphics resolution and frame rate, Tabata revealed that they are targeting 30 fps in the final version of the game. However, there were no mentions regarding the target resolution of their team for "Final Fantasy XV," though Tabata said that more information will be revealed in the coming week, including the resolution details.
As of the moment, "Final Fantasy XV" is rumored to be released in the event of "Final Fantasy" series publisher Square Enix. The event, called "Final Fantasy XV: Uncovered," will be held on March 30-31 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. A trailer for the event was released which shows what to expect in the video game enthusiasts gathering, including a huge surprise during the event which is rumored to be the Japanese video game developer company finally announcing the newest "Final Fantasy" installment. The company will likely reveal the official release date of the game and hold gameplay demo for those who will attend the event.
