'Final Fantasy XV' release date, plot update 2016: Game director talks about the vehicle Regalia

"Final Fantasy XV" has been getting so much attention lately with reports claiming that the upcoming action role-playing video game will be the best one in the series.
In his recent interview with the German magazine Games Aktuell, game director, Hajime Tabata revealed that gamers will certainly be happy with the new concept of the game. According to Tabata, players are given insane amount of freedom while negotiating behind the wheel in the upcoming game.
The interview was published by Nova Crystallis. The director of "Final Fantasy XV" has also talked about the vehicle Noctis and his team are going to use to ride on. The vehicle is called Regalia and basing from the trailer released a month ago, this is not an ordinary adventure for them as the vehicle can also fly.
Although the players are only allowed to fly the Regalia towards the final stage of the game, Tabata elaborated that it will allow them to access some areas of the game that were used to be off limits. However, this feature will only happen when the Regalia is on a flight mode. Players will be given the opportunity to fly and explore areas that have numerous secrets.
Meanwhile, Tabata also said that there are more exciting features of the game aside from Regalia. Players of "Final Fantasy XV" will also be given the chance to ride in a boat. Although it will only happen once in the entire game, it should give fans more reasons to be excited about the upcoming game.
"[It's] like a real journey. I want to express that feeling and want players to remember it. It should feel like a boat trip from France to the cliffs of Dover," the game director said.
"Final Fantasy XV" is set to have a worldwide release on Sept. 30 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
