The official release date of the highly-anticipated game "Final Fantasy XV" is yet to be confirmed, but pre-order has already started, hence leading fans that the game will hit the shelves very soon.

Game director Hajime Tabata recently had an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu concerning the upcoming event, in a report by NovaCrystallis. "This year is the year we will release Final Fantasy XV. Currently, we've decided on all of its specifications and the beta version is under production so we can shift into the debug phase. We'll show the real XV during the release date announcement this March," he confirmed.

As reported by Siliconera, Tabata shared a few details about the game development process during a NicoNico Livestream by Famitsu. The game director discussed about their goal of having a frame rate of 30fps, which the game has not fully achieved yet. Adjustments are currently being made before the planned release, but if everything goes south, their team will have to find other solutions. The game's resolution will be announced on the release event.

The game will span a total of 50 hours, contrary to the previously estimated time of 40 hours. At the moment, Square Enix are not yet in the final phases of the game as they are still making adjustments to improve the gameplay.

Final Fantasy XV is in the works for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The company is also working on a PS4 bundle version.

For fans who can't wait to get their hands on "Final Fantasy: XV," the game is currently available for pre-order. Amazon sells one for £54.99, while Game sells it a bit cheaper for a price of £47.99. On the other hand, collectors will have to wait a bit longer since a collector's edition will likely be made commercially available closer to the confirmed release date.

Square Enix will be having a special event on March 30 to announce the release date, price and a lot more specific details about "Final Fantasy XV." With the legendary Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles as the venue, the event entitled "Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV" will begin at 7:00 PM PT, and will be aired live via Twitch and Youtube.
