'Final Fantasy XV' release date and trailer update: New trailer 'World of Wonder' shows the game's gigantic cities and scenic backdrops

Fans of the "Final Fantasy" series finally have something to get excited about. It was recently revealed that the highly anticipated "Final Fantasy XV" will soon make it to consoles all over the world. It was already confirmed that the release date of the game will be on Sept. 30 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Many players would agree that the game title has long been overdue after it was announced many years ago. The current installment was released in 2010 and fans could no longer wait to get their hands on the latest of this massively multiplayer online role-playing game.

According to the game developer Square Enix, there will be three different versions of the game available once it hits the market. Although the price of the next title will vary according to the retailer, most likely it will be around $65. For players who decide to pre-order, there will be add-ons and bonuses included.

There will be a deluxe edition of the game, which will cost more than its regular price. However, it includes the "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV," a new Noctis' costume, a full-length movie and a new car livery.

Meanwhile, a new trailer of the upcoming game has just been published to YouTube, which shows the game's "World of Wonder." According to Shacknews, the new trailer provides a clearer picture of what fans can expect from the latest installment. The trailer shows the game's new towns, cities and other locations players can explore.

The trailer was originally shown on Mar.30 at an Uncovered event, according to Twinfinite. However, the game developer wanted to make sure fans can take a peek at it. The publication also reported that a movie called "Kingslave" and an anime series, "Brotherhood," will be rolled out before the game's release date. "Brotherhood's" first episode is already available on YouTube.
