'Final Fantasy XV' news, update, rumors: New weapons to be introduced; PS4 Pro, Xbox Scorpio, PC versions coming soon

The latest installment in the highly successful "Final Fantasy" game franchise will be released later this year. Several fans all over the world are now hyped for the anticipated release of "Final Fantasy XV" this November, which will be showcasing a lot of new and exciting gameplay contents.
One of the things that the fans should watch out in "Final Fantasy XV" is the all-new and wider range of weapon set in the game, Yibada reported. Some of the weaponry that are included in the upcoming video game may not be present in the previous "Final Fantasy" titles. Just recently, Square Enix unveiled some screenshots of the game, showing the game's lead character, Noctis, sporting different types of firearms such as handguns and assault rifles. Interestingly, the character was also seen holding a sniper rifle, which is something new in the game.
According to VG 24/7, several machinery class weapons such as the Assault Attack will let Noctis fire powerful shockwaves to disable the enemies. There is also a special attack that will round the enemies up and bring them all down as a batch. A second machinery weapon called the Circular Saw will allow the player's character to kill the opponents by cutting them in half.
On the other hand, Sony finally unveiled the new and improved version of the PlayStation 4 console. The new gaming device is called the "PS4 Pro," and it is expected to be released in the market on November 29. Some might think that the launching of the PS4 Pro and "Final Fantasy XV" on the same date is merely a coincidence, but it appears that there is a deeper reason behind it. It was confirmed via Sony's PlayStation blog that upon the release of PS4 Pro, "Final Fantasy XV" will be among the game titles compatible with the said home console.
Aside from the PS4 Pro, Xbox One is also expected to get a refresh with the Xbox Scorpio. While Microsoft's enhanced Xbox One version has no exact release date yet, many fans are expecting that "Final Fantasy XV" will also have a special version for the upcoming console as well. Also, it is expected that a PC version of the game will be available shortly after the November release of "Final Fantasy XV" in PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Unfortunately, for those expecting that "Final Fantasy XV" will also be playable in the upcoming Nintendo NX, Game Reactor reported that Square Enix has no plans of making the game compatible with Nintendo's latest console for the meantime.
"Final Fantasy XV" is set to be released on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
