'Final Fantasy XV' news 2016: Square Enix teases big boss battle; Nintendo NX version not seen in the near future

Final Fantasy

Aside from the confirmed release of Square Enix's upcoming game title, "Final Fantasy XV," on Sept. 30, not much has been known regarding the latest "Final Fantasy" installment. As the game is expected to arrive during the same period that the electronic gaming giants such as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo will release the new versions of their home consoles such as the Nintendo NX, may are expecting that a special version of "FFXV" will be created. Unfortunately for those rooting for Nintendo's biggest console yet and the latest "Final Fantasy" installment, Square Enix may not be able to release a compatible version of NX in the coming months.

It has been talked about in the gaming community that "Final Fantasy XV" is possible to be ported to the new Nintendo home console after Wii U. As reported by Yibada, "Final Fantasy" game director Hajime Tabata also expressed his hopes that the next "Final Fantasy" sequel will be compatible with NX, having "high expectations" that porting the game to the upcoming console will push through.

However, Game Reactor reported Tabata revealing just recently that Square Enix is not yet considering to develop a compatible version of "Final Fantasy XV" for the Nintendo NX. According to the director, the game developer company is still focused on developing the game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. Instead of the Nintendo NX, Square Enix might be considering to port the game to the updated versions of the mentioned home consoles, namely the PlayStation 4.5 NEO and Xbox Scorpio. It is also a possibility that "Final Fantasy XV" will have a PC version.

Nevertheless, there are still more reasons to root for the game as it is expected to introduce more intense and bigger boss battles. Tabata himself revealed that there are additional ways to defeat the big bosses that they prepared for the gamers. Those who are after a game of strategies will find it interesting to take down several bosses down the road, as reported by the Gaming Bolt.

It looks like many gamers will enjoy the official release of "Final Fantasy XV" as the early game reviews for the game title's official demo called the "Final Fantasy XV" Platinum demo are positive, reports say. Trusted Reviews gave favorable feedback and cited that the demo gave the fans what they have always wanted to see in a game like "Final Fantasy," which is a realistic theme with a touch of fantasy.

The "Final Fantasy XV" game demo is focused on Noctis, who will serve as FFXV's primary protagonist. He is shown to be in an adventure with a charming and furry creature. The two will be exploring various places in wonderland as Noctis himself will also begin to explore the depths of his inner self, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
