The upcoming video game "Final Fantasy XV" is about to hit the digital markets on Sept. 30, and that would be one big project down for the game developer company Square Enix. The company, which has become very busy with the development and delivery of "FF7" over the past few months, has not found enough time to work on other planned video games on their list. One of the anticipated big releases from Square Enix is the remake of the classic "Final Fantasy 7" video game, and the actual production is expected to roll out very soon.

While many are already excited for the reimagining of one of the most successful "Final Fantasy" video games ever made, there are some who think the current plans for the packaging of the remake will squeeze too much money from the fans. It was learned as reported by Yibada that the "Final Fantasy VII" remake is going to be released in several, full-sized episodic games that will act as replacement for a series of smaller episodes. The fan outcry began when a message regarding the matter was published through a Game Informer  report and reached the fans.

If "Final Fantasy VII" remake will actually be released as a multi-series video game, the players will have to buy all of the parts with each one of them having an equivalent price of a complete video game. As the anticipated video game is only expected to be a remake, fans have been pointing out that the overpriced set-up for the game is unnecessary. Several "Final Fantasy VII" remake followers took on the internet to stress out their opinions about the matter. An IGN user "ZankokuRyu" commented on a page of the website and said that charging the buyers $60 for each episode of the remake is a bad move for milking cash out of the fans.

In a separate report from the Game Informer, Square Enix game producer, Yoshinori Kitase discussed the new features of "Final Fantasy VII" remake, as well as the scale which he expects to be as big as "Final Fantasy XIII," or even bigger with the initial plan of three discs packaging.

"It will essentially be a full-scale game for each part of the multi-part series," Kitase said.

However, Kitase also mentioned in the same Game Informer report that some elements planned in the "Final Fantasy VII" remake might still change as he does not think any content in the game is "untouchable."
