Ever since the game publisher Square Enix made the announcement to release the "Final Fantasy 7 Remake," many fans have been waiting for the official details. Up until today, the company has yet to provide any information with regard to its development, much less its release date. However, there are speculations that the game may come out at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016.

Despite the rumored 2016 release, there are also fans and critics whose prediction is leaning towards a 2017 roll out.

According to a report by VideoGamer, "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is not in the game developer's list of the games to be released in 2016. The titles included in the list are "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue," "World of Final Fantasy," and console version of "Rise of the Tomb Raider."

Many players are expecting the game to be released this year especially that it has been a subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet. Nonetheless, the game developer is said to have stated that the list is not yet complete, giving hopes to millions of "Final Fantasy" fans all over the world.

As of now, fans should take all these rumors with a grain of salt until the company makes an official announcement with regard to its release date.

In other news, Yoshinori Kitase, Square Enix producer, revealed that the title will be released per episode. He also said that each episode is not going to be a part of any bigger game. The episode itself will come out as a full game.

"It will essentially be a full-scale game for each part of the multi-part series [...] if we're just looking at each of these parts; one part should be on par with the scale of one Final Fantasy XIII game," the producer revealed during his interview with Game Informer.
