'Final Fantasy 7' remake news, updates: Gameplay will be 30 hours long

There have been a lot of things going on with Square Enix that involve the "Final Fantasy" video game series. As it was already confirmed that "Final Fantasy 15" will be officially hitting the digital markets soon, there are also tons of attention being given to the much-anticipated "Final Fantasy 7" remake that is expected to feature the same elements that made the seventh "Final Fantasy" installment well-loved by the gamers and at the same time, sport the boldness of today's gaming technology.
While very limited reliable information are being shared online, a "Final Fantasy" fan took on to NeoGaf forums and brought up a few interesting details about Square Enix studio's modern take of the phenomenal "Final Fantasy 7." According to Bitbag, the NeoGaf user named "Philippo" claimed that the game developer company is planning to release the "FF7" remake in three chapters just like what it did during the release of "Final Fantasy 13." Square Enix seems to put a lot into the "FF7" remake that it has to be divided into three parts. Philippo also spilled that each episode will have the size of a single "Final Fantasy 3" game.
The rumored leak also states that there will be no significant pattern changes with regards to the original video game as the remake is expected to feature a lengthy gameplay of more than 30 hours. However, Square Enix ris eportedly limiting the development cycle of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake to be shorter than in "Final Fantasy 15."
It was reported that Game Informer will be covering the development and release of "Final Fantasy XV" for the whole month of May this year, as well as the gameplay changes to be featured in the "Final Fantasy 7" remake that will be tackled all throughout April.
Bitbag also reported that there will be more surprises for the fans as Square Enix holds the "Uncovered" event. There will be more details regarding the concept of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake and the release of "Final Fantasy 15," which is expected on Sept. 30 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
