'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Release Date, Plot News: Risqué Content Or None At All?
Will the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" stay true to the bestselling erotic romance novel from where it was based and include large amount of Bondage and Discipline (BD), Dominance and Submission (DS), Sadism and Masochism (SM) – or in short BDSM – materials?

The speculation among fans has been going on since the movie began filming early this year.
When the trailer was released a few months ago, there was the prerequisite BDSM scene and more. But since then, the cast was sent to Canada for reshoots. The shooting for the film wrapped up in February this year, and it looks like that a change of tactic and an attempt to woo the non-BDSM inspired audience prompted the reshoots.
As for the interest about the film, most of it is being generated by the Internet and readers of the book. The initial work was written by E. L. James as fan fiction wholly based on characters from the Twilight series.
However, when the first book in the series "Fifty Shades of Grey" was released names of the characters were changed and it was promoted as an original piece of work. The book soon went on to become a bestseller with many women buying it. Then James penned two more books "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed." The three books have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
Forbes reports that the readers of the book will be expecting more of the same BDSM storyline from the film, and it will be the main reason why many would want to see the film.
However, Jamie Dornan who plays Christian Grey recently stated in an interview that the sexual content is being watered down to allow the film to appeal to a wider audience.
Forbes says a "wider audience" will never materialize in theaters and even "hardcore fans" of the series might get turned off by the lack of BDSM content. This could eventually lead to the film performing poorly in the box office.
The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is set for a release date on Valentine's Day next year.
