"You're looking at an answered prayer," the actor captioned a family photo he posted June 27 on Instagram, which showed him and his ex-wife sporting same colored outfits.

Gibson made it officially clear that he's reunited with ex-wife Norma Mitchell after spending seven years of court battle over the custody of their only child, Shayla Somer Gibson.

"We prayed and made peace on behalf of our daughter," stated Gibson. The actor once revealed in an interview with Angie Martinez on Power 105.1 that he married Mitchell, who came from London and already pregnant at the time the state immigration knocked at her doors, to keep her in the U.S.

The 37-year-old actor, who also rose to fame in R&B music, delighted in the reunion's positive effect on his daughter now that she no longer has to choose between her parents. He said that their daughter has become more focused in school and shown "amazing" energy.

"Seeing the joy that has came over our daughter's life and energy brings me to tears every time," he shared.

The "Furious 7" star added, "I have to remind all of you of the power and presence of God. After praying and praying and praying, God showed UP and showed OUT. We will never be again but we will always be a family. From the Gibson's to you and yours. #Amen."

In an earlier post, the Grammy-nominated singer also took to Instagram to praise God lengthily for answered prayers. He encouraged his social media followers to get intimate with God, open one's heart to Him and trust God's timing. He even revealed another proof of "the power of the Lord Jesus Christ" when he witnessed his mother, who was already dependent on breathing tubes for life support, "come back to life." She's now back walking and talking, he shared.
