While the on-set feud between "Fast & Furious" stars Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel has reportedly been resolved, Johnson appears to have thrown shade at his co-star one final time in a recent Instagram post.

On Friday, Aug. 19, Johnson announced via Instagram that he had wrapped production on "Fast 8," the next installment in the long-running "Fast & Furious" film franchise.

"Finished strong and on to the next," Johnson said in the post. "Thank you to our director [F. Gary Gray] for the vision and execution. Thank you Universal for being tremendous partners as always," he added.

The actor also thanked "all my fellow co-stars for the daily effort and grind" and made mention of co-stars Scott Eastwood, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Tyrese Gibson. Diesel, who both stars in and produces "Fast 8," was not mentioned.

Johnson's thank you note follows what sources have claimed to be a truce between him and Diesel. Last week, insiders told The Hollywood Reporter that the two "Fast 8" actors had met on-set and that Mark Sourian, Executive Vice President of Universal Pictures, had been there to ensure that the feud was resolved before the upcoming press tour for "Fast 8."

"What happened is over, and no one expects there to be any lingering effects," a source said. "When it comes time to promote the movie, this will have no bearing."

Nonetheless, there are reportedly many who were not too happy with Johnson making the set drama public.

"Everyone was shocked that The Rock posted that," an agent who represents one of the film's cast members said. "That was seen as kind of unacceptable."

Earlier this month, Johnson took to Instagram to complain about one or more of his male co-stars, saying that some of them don't conduct themselves as true professionals.

The actor later reacted to the controversy, comparing the on-set feud to family conflict.

"Fast 8" drops April 14, 2017.
