Fans will soon get their hands on the "Fallout 4" mods for the PlayStation 4 as Bethesda Game Studios is already preparing the update to activate them.

The developer has deployed the update 1.18 for the personal computer (PC) while the version for the PS4 and the Xbox One are already in certification.

"We're happy to announce Fallout 4's Creation Kit is updated today to support mods on PS4. Go to your Bethesda.net Launcher to update your Creation Kit," Bethesda announced on its blog.

Media outlets believe that it will not be long before the update is ready for rollout, which means that gamers are days away from the release of the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods.

The feature should arrive soon and the update marks the closest fans have ever gotten to with regards to the release of the long-awaited feature.

Creators are already preparing for that big day as they are porting over their "Fallout 4" mod creations over to the PS4.

At the moment, a player can only add them to the library, but they are not live just yet. It won't be long before this changes so gamers should keep their eyes peeled for Bethesda's next announcement.

The "Fallout 4" PS4 mods were supposed to be released back in June. A month before that, Xbox One players have received theirs.

Sony has not approved of how the feature works in the game, as it basically gives players the power to do just about anything in "Fallout 4."

Bethesda sought to find middle ground with the company so that their work on the PS4 mods will not be put to waste and that gamers will get what they have been waiting for.

Fans should expect the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods to arrive sooner rather than later. When that will exactly happen, remains to be seen.
