Bethesda's massive hit post-apocalyptic shooter game "Fallout 4" has already released its last downloadable content pack (DLC), "Nuka World." The game studio claimed that they will no longer be releasing any expansion packs after "Nuka World," meaning that the "Fallout 4" saga has already ended. With this, some fans are wondering if Bethesda is already moving on from "Fallout 4" by developing the next installment, "Fallout 5."

As reported by Game N Guide, there are speculations circulating on the internet that "Fallout 5" is already in the pre-production stage. This may be possible as the game studio has more time to create a new game title after several "Fallout 4" DLC packs.

However, Bethesda was quick to debunk the ongoing rumors that "Fallout 5" is now under development. As reported by Frag Hero, it appears unlikely that Bethesda will release the next installment of the "Fallout" franchise soon.

The rumor of "Fallout 5" first broke when a known "Fallout" voice actor, Ryan Alosio, mentioned on his Instagram account that there is a possibility of the next installment being under development. Alosio is known to be the voice actor behind Deacon from "Fallout 4."

Later on, Alosio himself denied the growing speculations that Bethesda is indeed developing the next "Fallout" game title. He cleared that the rumors remain baseless as the game studio has not yet greenlit "Fallout 5." He is also amazed by the fans' reaction when the rumors sparked.

Game N Guide also noted that Bethesda might not be done yet with "Fallout 4," that is why they are not yet thinking about creating a new game. After "Nuka World," the rumors are rife that the players will see one more major DLC pack before "Fallout 4" officially wraps up. Likewise, the PS4 mods for "Fallout 4" are expected to be released in the coming weeks or months.
