'Fallout 4' PS4 mod release date news 2016: Latest mod features expected in PS4 in August?

For the PC and Xbox One users, the latest mod for "Fallout 4" has already rolled out, bringing in new gameplay features and more exciting contents. Unfortunately for the PlayStation 4 users, Bethesda has not yet confirmed a final release date of the new mods. It is speculated that the game developer company will be able to release the "Fallout 4" mod for PS4 in August, although it is still unknown if the problems that caused the delay in releasing the mod are already fixed.

Express UK reported that the latest "Fallout 4" mod support for PS4 was already delayed, as announced by Bethesda back in June. Several problems were cited by the game studio, and it might take some time before the PS4 users can enjoy the new contents included in the latest pack. It appears that some new features to be introduced in the game are not working fine for the PS4 console just yet.

Before having the latest mod feature to go live, the "Fallout 4" 1.5.4. update must first be downloaded by the users to unlock the latest mods. This update is said to unlock the closed beta version of the latest mod for those players who have already signed up for it. With the ongoing problem with PS4, this update is not yet expected to roll out until the last week of July.

"We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed," stated by Bethesda via Express UK. "We will update everyone when we can."

Some of the "Fallout 4" issues associated with the PS4 include memory and performance bugs plus a very limited PS4 mod storage, going only up to 900 MB.

Still, Bethesda has managed to release a new patch update of "Fallout 4" for the PlayStation 4 users. The update 1.6. already rolled out in PC and Xbox One earlier this month, and just recently, this update is now made available for the PS4 users. Aside from the usual bug fixes and performance improvements, some of the changes included in the update are the new Exit Save feature and 300 more names for Codsworth, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.
