Fallout 4 Game Release Date: Set to Land in 2016? Will Have PS4, PC and Xbox One Versions

The much anticipated action game Fallout 4, which will be published by Bethesda Softworks and developed by Bethesda Game Studios, may be released in 2016, reports say.

According to the Fallout 4 Wikia, tha game has been in pre-production since August 2010. However, the publisher has not made any announcement as to anything in relation to the game.

While the details remain unofficial, it has been reported that the game will have versions for PS4, PC and Xbox One, and will serve as a sequel to Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3.

As to the certainty of the release, publisher Bethesda Softwoks has previously announced that they are "likely to create more Fallout titles".

Pete Hines, Vice President for Bethesda Softworks, who is also in charge of public relations and marketing, said, "The whole reason we went out and acquired the license and that we now own Fallout is that we clearly intended to make more than one."

"This is not something we're going to do once and then go away and never do it again. When that will be or how long that will be God only knows, but we acquired it specifically because we wanted to own it and develop it and work on it like we do with The Elder Scrolls," he also added.

As for the characters, the Fallout 4 Wikia reports that some characters from the previous Fallouts, such as the voice of Three Dog, Erik Todd Dellums, will be appearing in the future Fallout titles.
