Fallout 4 Automatron DLC update rumors: Details on the latest DLC release
Bethesda recently announced three DLC packs for Fallout 4 to be commercially available in the coming months, with the first one called Automatron which was released last March 22.
In a report by PCAdvisor, Automatron was released on all platforms for the price of £7.99.The DLC features new robots which can be added to the open world. Once defeated, the robots drop parts enabling the Wanderer to use them for a completely new companion.

"The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain," Bethesda's website reads. "Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities and weapons like the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customise their paint schemes and choose their voices!" reads the Automatron description.
The release date last March 22 is exclusive to EU and United States areas only. The release for Automatron in Asia is delayed for a few weeks, with a definitive date yet to be announced by Bethesda. Reports say that gamers in Asia will have to wait for two more weeks before having access to the DLC.
IGN recently tried the latest Fallout 4 Automatron DLC and gave an overall positive feedback. "Automatron is a fun piece of DLC that expands Fallout 4 in some interesting ways, applying the sort of customization previously reserved for settlements to your traveling companions. The results are satisfying. The story mode is brief, the narrative is mundane, and sadly the all-too-familiar Fallout 4 bugs are still hanging around, but the overall experience is rewarding, imaginative, and a pleasure to play," the IGN review reads.
Wasteland Workshop is the second Fallout 4 DLC to hit the stores on April for a price of £3.99. This smaller add-on allows players to set and design cages which can be used to capture live creatures, as reported by Gottabemobile.
