Hip hop and rap icon Eminem released his last album a few years ago, and fans are wondering when a new album from him will hit the shelves. The famous rapper has yet to confirm anything about an upcoming album, but it only makes his fans even more curious.
As noted by reports, Eminem's much-anticipated ninth studio album might be the biggest he has done yet. The artist has been teasing his social media followers about a possible title for his 2016 album, and he might just be waiting for the right time to break the news about the rumored project.
On the other hand, there are also reports claiming that Eminem might not release an album anytime soon due to lack of inspiration. Rumor has it that the 43-year-old rapper is currently dealing with a lot more in his personal life, including his ex-wife's condition, which hinders him from focusing on his music. Eminem's former wife Kim Mathers spoke about her suicide attempt back in October. Eminem has yet to comment on this issue.
Meanwhile, rap artist/host Nick Cannon recently called out several rappers including Eminem, asking them to challenge him for $100,000. This fueled speculations that Eminem's much-awaited album might include a rap battle between him and the "Wild N' Out" host. During a recent interview with U.K. artist Tim Westwood, Cannon made his announcement along with the statement that he is serious about his challenge. He even mentioned that he'd be willing to battle it out with anyone who wants to confront him. "We gonna be out in the States for the BET Awards. I'm holding a $100,000 battle - whoever wants it - but it has to be someone who can put up 100 grand," Cannon explained. As of now, Eminem has not yet issued a statement on Nick Cannon's recent challenge.
Eminem will reportedly release his ninth album sometime next year.
