Eminem 2016 album rumors and updates: Eminem to work on new TV series, 2002 hit song 'Lose Yourself' to be remastered?

Rap icon Eminem's fans have been waiting for his new album for quite some time now, but it looks like Slim Shady is not yet ready to share details about his upcoming record. According to reports, the album is currently in the works, but details are still being kept under wraps. Rumor has it that Eminem is secretly recording his new tracks, and the latest record will hit the shelves sometime this year to be available across different platforms.
There are speculations that Eminem will have a remaster of his Grammy award-winning song "Lose Yourself" and have included it in his ninth album. The rap song quickly made waves back in 2002 due to its catchy and meaningful lyrics, and up to now it remains as one of the rapper's most iconic hits. Reports say that it will be titled "Mom's Spaghetti" after the famous meme inspired by the song, but it remains to be confirmed by Eminem or any of his representatives.
Aside from working on his much-anticipated record, Deadline reports that the master rapper will be working on an upcoming Paramount TV series. Born and raised in Detroit, Eminem has been a symbol for the city, and now he will be a part of a show to be set in his hometown. The yet-to-be-titled series is inspired by Joe Carnahan's 202 film titled "Narc," and the rapper is in negotiations to take part in the project as a music supervisor and an executive producer as well. He is also expected to write a number of original songs for the new drama which will later on be taken out to networks in the U.S.
As of now, details about Eminem's latest record remain scarce and most of it are just rumors.
