Elder Scrolls 6 release date rumors: Bethesda to make announcement at E3 event?
Following Bethesda's announcement on Twitter that they will be at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, fans started to speculate that the company will come out with something really big at the event. The announcement on social media has intrigued many players after it included an image of several Bethesda projects such as "Fallout," "The Evil Within," "Dishonored," and the much awaited "Elder Scrolls VI."

The American-based game publisher has not provided any details about their planned announcement at the E3 event. However, fans certainly want to know more about it as most of them are trying to figure out what is behind the image.
Fans have reason to believe that the event in June will be something to look forward to. At the last E3 2015, Bethesda stated that they won't be returning to the event every year; however, they added that they would only confirm attendance if something big is going to get launched from the company.
After the announcement on Twitter, Bethesda's video game designer, Todd Howard, revealed that the company is working on "three big and crazy" projects. Fans believe that the projects include the upcoming "Elder Scrolls" 5th sequel.
However, the company has not provided any more details with regard to Howard's revelation. On his part, the game designer has recently stated in his interview with Game Industry that he never should have announced anything that pertains to the latest projects they are currently working on.
"I should have never said a number because we have so many things. You could add it up in different ways. You could say it's bigger or smaller. They're a long way off. I think the larger point was, no one should expect to hear about those [games] anytime soon," Howard explained.
Nevertheless, the recent E3 announcement should be a positive sign for fans that "Elder Scrolls 6" might be under development and could be available in the market soon.
