'Elder Scrolls 6' release date news update: VP Pete Hines confirms game won't be in Gamescom 2017 or 2018

Lots of fans are already itching to get their hands on Bethesda's much-anticipated game "Elder Scrolls 6," but it might be a while before the new installment becomes available to the market.
In a recent interview with GameStar, Bethesda's Vice President for Public Relations and Marketing Pete Hines discussed new details about the game and explained why it won't be winging its way to consoles anytime soon. To help excited fans manage their expectations, Hines gave his word that the "Elder Scrolls 6" will not be at Gamescom 2017 or 2018. "Just so you know, not at the next Gamescom and not the one after that; there are at least two big games from Bethesda Games Studios before we get around to Elder Scrolls 6," he confirmed.
Additionally, Hines talked about what makes Bethesda's title stand out from the others. He stressed that only few game studios in the industry like Bethesda can allow exploration of a huge world with a high level of interactivity. "What new feature can we add, what new things can we offer without sacrificing the things that make a game like ours, cool," he continued.
Speaking with PC Gamer last week, Hines also clarified that the public won't hear the first details about the game years before its release. The new installment may still be years away from being available to players, but Bethesda is currently busy promoting its latest release called "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim — Special Edition."Though it's not new in terms of gameplay, the studio recently upgraded the graphics for a better visual display compared to its original counterpart. Rumors about the release of "Elder Scrolls 6" are rife, so fans are advised to just hold off on their expectations about the upcoming game until Bethesda releases another official update.
Bethesda has yet to announce an official release date for "Elder Scrolls 6."
