'Duck Dynasty' Locked In For Another Season

The Robertson family of the famous "Duck Dynasty" reality show have confirmed that they are signed for a whole season of episodes spanning into 2015.
Alan Robertson, a pastor and the oldest son of Phil and Kay Robertson, recently told The Shreveport Times that he and his fellow Robertson family members are slated to produce episodes for 2015.
"We know we're locked in for at least another full year — through 2015. Beyond that, we really don't know," Robertson told The Times in a recent interview. "We have recommitted this year — both our family and the network production crew — to putting out some really good stories from our family that we can all enjoy. I think this next year's going to be really, really good."
Robertson's recent comments may have come as surprising news to some "Duck Dynasty" fans, as the reality show's ratings have been slipping in its most recent season.
Willie Robertson, CEO of the Duck Commander duck call company, spoke on the show's seasonal ratings drop in a recent interview with FOX411, saying that he believes the drop in ratings is just a natural part of the life cycle of a reality show.
"To some extent it's a natural cycle of any show," Willie told FOX411. "You have ups and you have downs […] [This season] was aired in the summer which is when not as many people are watching TV."
"Those things affect it. It's about what you're up against too so a lot of factors play into that," Willie continued. "We just do what we do...I mean it's the top show on cable. I think anybody would kill to have a top show on cable, you know, for one night of the week so we feel like it's not as bad [as people say]."
