'Drunk History' season 4 spoilers news 2016: Gender-flipped 'Hamilton' episode date confirmed, star-studded trailer released

Stage actor Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway stint as Alexander Hamilton may be over but he will continue to tell the historical figure's story in the upcoming season of Comedy Central's "Drunk History" later this year.
On Nov. 29, the show will have a gender-flipped "Hamilton" episode featuring Alia Shawkat as Hamilton and Aubrey Plaza as his nemesis Aaron Burr. Miranda and Jenny Slate are both confirmed to be in the episode as the drunk narrators. Since the characters were required to cross-dress, Shawkat said it was a unique and fun experience for her.
"Me and Aubrey loved the outfits. We talked about how different we felt," Shawkat told Entertainment Weekly. "We were acting different, walking different, interacting with the crew differently. There was something trippy about being dressed like a man all day."
Joining the 10-episode series to narrate important historical events are Paget Brewster and Allan McLeod. Familiar faces who are set to appear in other episodes include Ed Helms, Michael Cera, Tony Hale, Josh Charles, Joe Lo Truglio, Gabourey Sidibe, Thomas Middleditch, Busy Phillips, Patton Oswalt, Allison Tolman, Jack McBrayer, Dave Grohl, Elizabeth Olsen, and Rachel Bilson. "SNL" star Kyle Mooney also stars as American daredevil Sam Patch, who is known for successfully jumping over Niagara Falls.
On another note, a star-studded full trailer for the upcoming season four has been released by the network. Titled as "The History They Never Taught You," the 2-minute teaser gives fans a glimpse of the dizzying number of famous personalities who will make cameos in the series.
The last moments of the clip show returning narrator Chris Romano in a tub while saying: "You're not going to believe what you see, but you're going to believe what you hear."
Catch the season 4 premiere of "Drunk History" on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 10:30 p.m. EST on Comedy Central.
