Driveclub PS4 Review Roundup: Driveclub Debuts To Good Reviews But Servers Fail
The Driveclub release date arrived on October 7 on the PS4 platform, and an early review by Digital Spy describes it "stunning", and goes on to note that most elements in the game are simple starting from its menus and submenus to its course selection.

What has been also been making news, is the comment made by Matt Martin in May, in which he called Driveclub a "Forza killer." PlayStation Universe refers to this controversy, and notes that it is still being kept alive in the comments being added to articles about Driveclub.
Another sweet surprise The Verge is reporting about Driveclub in its review is the game allows a player to drift along with others in his virtual team. Once a club is formed the members in it progress along with the others, and so players do not experience a vacuum when drifting.
The Verge in its review of Driveclub also describes, how the game allows players to create their own challenges which they can then share with others. This feature makes Driveclub "a surprisingly addictive experience".
Videogamer has since reported that Evolution Studios the makers of Driveclub experienced issues with their servers which meant gamers could not play online. They also could not launch multiplayer races, use the split-screen or change the color of the cars.
Also Evolution Studios has since announced that the PlayStation Plus Edition of Driveclub will be delayed, to lessen the load being placed on the servers. In a message, on Driveclub's Facebook page Paul Rustchynsky the game Director noted that "they were seeing a lot of activity and unfortunately this is pushing the servers to their absolute limits"
Finally Huffington Post in its review of the game notes that "Driveclub looks fantastic apart from a few cartoon like elements, it is a slick-looking game that uses weather, sunrise, sunset and atmospheric details to tremendous effect."
