After receiving positive responses from gamers, fans and video game critics on the second installment of the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" franchise, Bandai Namco is now ready to launch a patch this November.

For the uninitiated, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" was released on Oct. 25. According to reports, Bandai Namco has announced that patch 1.01 for DBX 2 will be released on the first day of November. The first patch is expected to fix various issues which includes the an improvement in loading time, adjustments for Namekians awakening power form and the Male Majin, and lessening lag issues especially for online gaming. Aside from this, the video game developers also added adjustments in order to fix issues in the Steam data base such as glitches and crash problems.

Furthermore, reports said that the patch will only be accessible for PC and Xbox One. PS4 versions will be available after the patch's initial launch.

On a post last Oct. 28, Saiyan Island reported that other issues are being adjusted for better performance and improved experience, one of which is the availability of Goku Black and Future Trunks pre-order bonuses.

In addition, controller issues, Depths of Despair Expert Mission Giant Ki attack problems, and voice-over issues are also being worked on. Saiyan Island also mentioned that it is important to note the difference between a patch and a downloadable content (DLC), since new gamers are often confused by the two. A patch is defined as an update that fixes issues of a feature in the game. On the other hand, a DLC refers to new game content, which usually brings new attacks for a specific character, new missions or stages.

Although there has been no information about the release date for the DLC pack for DBX 2, Cabba and Frost are expected to be included in DLC Pack 1.
