'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' news: Beta scheduled on October; Namekian Nail to be added

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" only has a month before its much-awaited release, and a new character has been added to the game's lineup.
According to reports, Namekian Nail is the newest playable character that has been added in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2". A YouTube user named SaiyanGamer even showed a scan of the Japanese V-Jump Magazine issue announcing the said character addition. Namekian Nail first appeared in Dragon Ball Z before teaming up with Piccolo. Other playable characters in the game include Mecha Cooler, Goku and Vegeta.
Meanwhile, the game will have its first open beta soon, and it will be launched in various beta stages. As noted by PlayStation Lifestyle, Bandai Namco announced that there will be two periods of beta versions: a closed and open beta period. For interested gamers, the closed beta period for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is scheduled on Oct. 8 at exactly 1 a.m. PT/4 a.m. ET / 10 a.m. CEST. It will be up until Oct. 10.
The open beta period starts a few days later on October 14 and similar to the Closed Beta, it will start at exactly 1 a.m. PT/4 a.m. ET / 10 a.m. CEST It is scheduled to end on October 17 at the same time as well. PlayStation 4 owners who wish to secure a close beta version can simply pre-order the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" through the PlayStation Store. Through an e-mail, Bandai Namco distributes the download codes to users.
Starting October 13, the open beta will be available for public download. Further details may be viewed on Bandai Namco's official "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" site or via e-mail for embers who have already subscribed. It is also important to note that the beta stages will exclusively be for PlayStation 4 users only. Players will be taking part in tournaments as they compete for the best Time Patroller. Participants of the beta stages of the tournament will later receive a small gift once the game officially arrives.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will officially be released on Oct. 25 for North America, and its worldwide release for all platforms.will be on Oct. 28.
