'Dragon Ball Super' updates, rumors, spoilers: Upcoming arc to feature 'Black Goku' as a deity? Gods, Omni King threatened?
The return of Akira Toriyama's original creation with "Dragon Ball Super" has mostly dealt with the existence of celestial deities that are far more superior in power level as compared with the series' popular characters, including Son Goku and Vegeta. The viewers have also learned that besides the two known Gods of Destruction in the show, Beerus and Champa, there is another deity that is stronger than them. The supreme deity referred to as the Omni King is the ruler of the twelve universes and has the power to destroy all of them in one blink of an eye. However, the recent rumors suggest that there could be someone else in the universe with a power far greater than the Omni King himself, and this character will be the evil version of Son Goku himself.
According to the reports, the alternate Goku from another universe dubbed as the "Black Goku" is going be introduced in the coming episodes. Saiyan Island reported that the arrival of the new Saiyan villain will coincide with the return of Future Trunks, which is rumored to happen in Episode 47. The rumors further state that Future Trunks will once again warn the Z fighters of the present about an impending disaster to be caused by Black Goku. There are speculations that Black Goku will not be an ordinary overpowered Saiyan, but he is also a deity with power that possibly outclasses that of the Omni King himself. The news website Yibada also reported that the rumored arrival of Black Goku will again feature the Omni King Zeno, along with the other Gods of Destruction from other universes, implying that the new Saiyan villain is something that must be dealt with seriously.
Meanwhile, the recent episode of "Dragon Ball Super" involves Goten and Trunks being trapped in another planet together with Monaka. The planet called Potaufeu houses a mysterious power source called the Superhuman Water. In the next episode, the Z fighters will deal with a spawn of the Superhuman Water in the form of Copy Vegeta. It is yet to be known if the version of Vegeta will pose a threat as Goku confronts the clone.
