'Dragon Ball Super' news, spoilers update: Goku will reach final Saiyan form to defeat Black Goku?
The new villain of Akira Toriyama's "Dragon Ball Super" has finally been revealed in the previous episode. The viewers were able to see Future Trunks once again as he faced a powerful and evil entity dubbed as Black Goku, which is the evil alternate version of the series main protagonist, Son Goku. According to the latest rumors, Goku will have to attain the highest Saiyan form to have the power enough to defeat Black Goku.
It is still not confirmed why the alternate version of Goku from Future Trunks' timeline became evil. It must be noted that the timeline where Future Trunks live saw Goku die due to a heart ailment. With the arrival of Black Goku, it is speculated that he is not from the Z fighters' dimension. Instead, Black Goku is a powerful Saiyan from another universe. Design N Trend reported that the evil version of Goku could have hailed from one of the 12 universes, where each universe has a different version of worlds from each other. It is possible that another version of Goku may have turned evil in one of these universes.
It is also possible that this Goku was originally good-hearted, but he was involved in a fusion with Makaioshin, a Supreme Kai of the demon world. His appearance in the previous episode was likened by the fans to that of a Supreme Kai, thus raising the possibility that Black Goku is the fusion of Goku with a very powerful deity.
According to reports, Future Trunks is expected to visit his friends in the "present" timeline to bring another warning that involves the safety of the entire universe. Future Trunks first visited the past using the Capsule Corp's time travel machine to warn the Z fighters about the deadly androids created by Doctor Jero. This time around, Future Trunks is expected to warn his friends from another timeline regarding the arrival of the universe's biggest threat yet, Black Goku.
It is rumored that Black Goku has an immense power that rivals that of the 12 universes' strongest fighters. It is said that Black Goku will have the power to defeat even the Gods of Destruction, including Beerus and Champa. He can even match the power of the Supreme King of all 12 universes, Zeno.
