'Dragon Ball Super' episode 57, 58 spoilers news update: How will Son Goku defeat the immortal Zamasu?

The 57th episode of the "Dragon Ball Super" anime which was titled "The Birth of the Invisible God, Zamasu," showed Son Goku, Vegeta and a future version of Trunks in a tough situation because of Zamasu. After the latest episode, fans are clamoring to know more about the antagonists, Black Goku and Zamasu.

To recap, episode 57 showed that Zamasu and Black Goku made an alliance. The duo made Son Goku wonder if the partnership had been forged prior to their encounter. But Zamasu was quick to retort that both of them were simply kindred souls.

As expected, the episode delved into Zamasu's character. Through his dialogue, fans were able to figure out the motive behind his desire for destruction. Zamasu revealed that he loathed humankind and that he yearned to build a world without them. More importantly, he detested Saiyans and their ability to defy gods with their divine ki.

Amid the intense battle, the indestructible god grabbed hold of Son Goku and Trunks as Black was trying to destroy them with his Kamehameha wave. Just in time, Vegeta was able to brandish the little power he had left to deflect Black's blow. He was then rendered unconscious. Yabirobe was able to bring all three of them to safety, sending them back to the past with a time machine.

The fight revealed that Zamasu was an immortal god who had regenerative abilities. He is a force to be reckoned with, and for now, the heroes have to recuperate and eventually, devise ways to defeat the god.

Sources said that a synopsis for the forthcoming episode leaked online, which was quickly translated by excited fans. According to reports, the group will safely return to the past.
