'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 53, 54 spoilers news: Not enough proof to link Zamasu and Black; Vegeta trains Future Trunks to defeat Black Goku

The previous episode 53 of "Dragon Ball Super" has shown the long trip of Beerus, Whis and Son Goku as they confronted a mysterious Kaioshin apprentice in Universe 10. The God of Destruction of Universe 6 has been suspecting that the reigning villain of the series, Black Goku, is connected with the Universe 10's Kaioshin named Zamasu. 

According to reports, the episode shows Beerus, Whis and Goku meeting Zamasu. Both Beerus and Whis noted during the first time Black Goku appeared in the present timeline that the latter's ki is familiar. They pinpointed that Zamasu shares the same ki as Black Goku, thus they began to speculate that Zamasu and Black Goku are one and the same being.

There are in fact hints that Zamasu may be Black Goku after all. At the beginning of the episode, Zamasu expressed his distrust of the humans that the gods of the universe have created, commenting that all they did so far is to fight one another. When Beerus and Whis arrived with Goku, Zamasu took notice of the latter as a filthy human. He even felt insulted when Goku challenged him to a duel, believing that Goku is a lesser being to do such thing. He was surprised, however, when he experienced Goku's power that almost rival his own. 

Still, Beerus and Whis could not say that Zamasu is actually Black as the Universe 10 Kaio was able to show them the Time Rings still in place. To note, Black Goku was already wearing the Time Rings when he appeared in front of everyone. Thus, there is still no concrete evidence to incriminate Zamasu for Black Goku's misdeeds, but the speculation still remains that they are related.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Episode 54 teaser shows that Future Trunks will be receiving a special training from his own father from the present timeline. Vegeta wants to push his son beyond his limits, possibly wanting him to turn into a Super Saiyan God/Super Saiyan Blue. This must be done in order for Future Trunks to fight Black Goku the next time they meet each other.
