'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 47 spoilers update: SOS from the future will open the new arc; How strong will Future Trunks be?

Akira Toriyama's "Dragon Ball Super" is about to start a new major story arc for the series with Episode 47 next week. The new arc is expected to feature the return of Future Trunks as he brings with him an important warning from his timeline regarding a very powerful entity threatening to destroy not only Planet Earth but also the rest of the 12 universes.

The first provisional title of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 47 called "New Chapter! An Obscure Enemy Appears!" pertains to a new villain that will antagonize Son Goku and the rest of the Z fighters. The news website Yibada reported that Future Trunks will be sending an SOS from the future as the upcoming villain is expected to raise hell in all corners of the universe.

It is also expected that Future Trunks will be a lot stronger compared to what the fans had seen from him in "Dragon Ball Z." Future Trunks first appeared in the anime series when he traveled back to the past to warn Goku and his friends regarding Doctor Jero's powerful android creations. Future Trunk's trip to the past allowed him to get stronger and even went past the first Super Saiyan stage. This time in "Dragon Ball Super," there are rumors that Future Trunks has already attained the Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan Blue status many years after he joined Goku in his battle against Perfect Cell.

Moreover, Enstarz reported that Future Trunks in his Super Saiyan Blue form is not enough to stop the dreaded villain from causing mayhem in his alternate timeline. This suggests that the power level of this new enemy is way ahead of Future Trunks and any other powerful Saiyans as the Super Saiyan Blue form grants its user unimaginable strength.

Rumor has it that the next villain in "Dragon Ball Super" will be Black Goku, or the alternate evil version of Goku from another universe. He is said to possess the power greater than any other characters in the show, and not even the gods of destruction can match his power.
