"Dragon Ball Heroes" has always been a popular Nintendo 3DS series especially in Japan. "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" did quite well when it came out a few years ago, but it seems that it may be time for a follow up to come out.

Gematsu has reported that "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X" has been announced for 3DS in the latest issue of V-Jump, and it's going to hit the shelves in Japan on April 27. Right now, there is no word on a North American or European release. The previous "Dragon Ball Heroes" titles were not released in the West, and fans don't think this one would get a localized version either. That's too bad.

Gematsu also says that the first print copies of the new card-based fighting game will also get a five collectible cards: "Tokusei Hero Avatar Card," Son Goku: Xeno," "Vegeta: Xeno," "Darkness Majin Towa" and "Vegito (Super Saiyan Blue)."

"Dragon Ball Heroes" is actually an arcade game series ported to the 3DS. Previous games released on the portable game console include "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission" and "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2."

A report on iTech Post says the game is going to feature "more than 3,000 cards and 36 missions" and over "200 Super Warriors." However, it should be noted that Bandai Namco Entertainment has not revealed any further details as of this moment, so readers are advised to take this with a little pinch of salt.

Son Goku in his Super Saiyan Blue form is seen on the image from V-Jump, but a number of unknown characters are also featured in the background. One thing is for certain, though. "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X" is going to be another card game based on the "Dragon Ball" manga and anime series, so many of the characters should make an appearance.
