Bethesda Softworks finally made an announcement with regard to the release of "Doom" open beta. The company will roll out the game from April 15 to 17. According to the game publisher, fans can start playing the open beta at 12 a.m. Eastern on April 15. It will end on April 17 at exactly 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

Gamers from different platforms such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC will have the chance to download the beta version and play the much-anticipated title. According to the company, game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Warpath will be playable on the maps of Heatwave and Infernal.

The full game is expected to be launched on May 13 as it was previously announced by Bethesda. The publisher also said that the open beta is just a small part of what gamers will get once the full game hits the market.

"These maps and modes are just a fraction of what players will experience when the game launches May 13 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC," Bethesda said in its announcement. "Support for Doom doesn't end when the game is out. For the rest of the year, we expect to provide certain free content updates across SnapMap and multiplayer."

Meanwhile, "Doom" will come with three major multiplayer DLC updates or expansions, which will be released within this year. The DLC packs will include hack modules, several new maps, weapons, playable demons and many more. The first one will come out this summer.

Each DLC update will be available for $14.99. The company also makes sure that players who want to get the Season Pass will not have to spend much as it will only be available for $39.99. Season pass is rumored to include other numerous features but nothing has been confirmed yet by Bethesda.
