'Doctor Who' spin-off air date, spoilers: Peter Capaldi to guest star in spin-off series as the Doctor

In less than a month, fans of the "Doctor Who" franchise will be able to watch the first two episodes of the spin-off series "Class," with a special guest appearance in the premiere episode.
In a livestream session with the main cast of the series, viewers found out that Peter Capaldi is expected to guest star in the spin-off. Capaldi is the 12th and current actor of the "Doctor Who" series. He will be introduced in the first episode. In a Q&A session, the actor revealed, "The 'Doctor Who' family is growing, and it's fantastic to be able to welcome the young new cast of Class in to the Whoniverse."
On the official Twitter account of "Class," the show also confirmed that the actor will be guest starring as the Doctor.
The first episode titled "For Tonight We Might Die" will air on BBC Three later next month. The first episode of the show will introduce a new setting to the "Doctor Who" franchise. In Coal Hill Academy, a new term just started and students will be bustling with preparations for the prom scheduled in the fall. However, amidst the busy hallways, the academy will be under attack. Four average students will then form an alliance with the assistance of physics teacher Miss Quill (Katherine Kelly).
The four main stars of the show are Greg Austin as Charlie, Sophie Hopkins as April, Fady Elsayed as Ram, and Vivian Oparah as Tanya. The Doctor will be making an appearance in the show, entrusting the team of saving the rest of their academy from nightmarish monsters.
Shortly after the premiere episode, the second episode titled "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo" will air next.
The first two episodes of BBC Three's spin-off series "Class" will premiere Saturday, Oct. 22. Meanwhile, the rest of the spin-off series will resume on BBC America together with "Doctor Who" season 10 in 2017.
