'Dishonored 2' gameplay news: Game to feature two playable characters

Arkane Studios' open-world exploration video game "Dishonored" received such praise that the studio decided to create a sequel. The forthcoming game is expected to be better than its preceding title.

"Dishonored 2" will feature a new storyline, which is set 15 years after the previous game. Before the events of the sequel, society has seen peace because of Emily Kaldwin. However, when she is removed from her throne, the Empire of Isles will be in chaos.

The upcoming game will have two playable characters â€” Emily will be joining forces with Corvo Attanos to regain her throne. The players will revisit the city of Dunwall and the coastal town of Karnaca in the upcoming game. The new playable character will have great stealth, and Emily will become a master at concealing herself in the shadows as well as stalking enemies.

Players will still see Emily's shadow walk and Corvo bend time in "Dishonored 2."

In a video trailer titled "Creative Kills," Bethesda showcased the new gameplay, featuring Emily's skillset. In the clip, the former Empress can be seen dragging enemies that are chained together. She pulls the group through an electrified gate as well. Furthermore, she calls on a doppelganger, and linked it with the group. The Empress then throws the decoy through telekinesis.

Meanwhile, the trailer revealed that Corvo has access to "Springrazor" mines. The character stopped time to implant a mine on the back of his attacker.

"Dishonored 2" Collector's Edition consists of a number of features that fans will definitely enjoy. The edition will contain a replica of Corvo Attano's iconic mask, a replica of Emily Kaldwin's ring, a propaganda poster, a digital imperium assassin's pack pre-order downloadable content, and a digital copy of "Dishonored: Definitive Edition."

"Dishonored 2" will launch on Nov. 11 for PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox One consoles, and Microsoft Windows PC.
