Even though "Dirty Bomb" is still in its closed beta stage, new additions have been released including a new mode, a mercenary character named Nader and a brand-new map.

Many gamers who have participated in the closed beta stage lauded the game's setting, describing the game as a straightforward online shooter.

The character Nader was revealed to be a rehash of an existing one. This time though she is going to come with a number of changes. As with the original version, this character still retains her German nationality and her grenade launcher.

Everything else about the character has been tweaked and her grenade launcher has been improved considerably. She will be able to launch more grenades in mid-range combat situations.

She is also described as being able to provide cover at the front lines, which is essential when bombs have to be defused or planted.

"Dirty Bomb" is an out and out shooter set in the streets of London. Players will have to create teams and work towards completing objectives.

The story of the game explores the aftermath of a dirty bomb explosion which left the city uninhabitable. Into this setting is introduced a team of mercenaries. Players get to experience the game from their standpoint as they loot the city for various things like medicines, information and, most important of all, money.

Aus Gamers said the game presents players with a steep learning curve, and is designed for those who are interested in "fast-paced competitive shooters."

The format of the game will not surprise those who are familiar with the "Enemy Territory" game that was created by Splash Damage.

GameSpot recently revealed that that game would have a new mode named "Execution." This mode has been modeled after a bombing run with each player getting one life to complete a number of attack and defensive rounds.
