'Diablo 4' release date: Fan shares concept plot for purported fourth installment; Still no final word from developer's side?

Would there finally be a "Diablo 4" release date after a fan fiction was developed, detailing the full story arc for a supposed fourth installment?
It would be recalled that in early 2015, rumors were rife that Blizzard Entertainment was planning to debut the "Diablo III" expansion packs at the BlizzCon 2015. However, in April of the same year, BlizzPro reported that the rumored expansion has been purportedly replaced by an entirely new game, "Diablo 4."
Headlines and Global News also reported that Blizzard Entertainment would rather develop minor content expansions than work on a major expansion for "Diablo III" since key members of the team that originally developed the game are no longer connected with the company and instead focus on developing the hypothetical "Diablo 4."
The last "major" expansion for "Diablo III" was "Reaper of Souls," which was released in 2014. After that, Blizzard Entertainment merely released continuous patches such as Patch 2.3.0, which was an introduction to the Ruins of Sescheron and Patch 2.4.0 that introduced Greyhallow Island.
With scarcely any news about "Diablo III" expansion packs and "Diablo 4" release date, an avid fan of the game. Stewart Berk, developed a concept plot for the supposed fourth installment of this highly popular role-playing game (RPG).
Berk shared the fan fiction through the fansite DiabloFans. There, he revealed that the four factions that came about after The Great War have begun to disagree with one another.
These four factions include the Monks who are considered the modern society's healthcare providers, the Mages who practice arcane arts, the Militants who enforce and ensure the society's law and order, and the Mystics who are a naturalist group.
"While the four factions occasionally disagree, a greater peace has held for as long as modern memory reaches," the fan fiction said. "But recently dark rumors have begun to spread of underground cults that speak to beings thought lost to time. Tensions are running high. There have been strange sightings in the wilderness, and odd lights in the sky."
No official word has been released from Blizzard Entertainment's camp regarding this concept plot. Nevertheless, fans are hoping they would agree with the idea, enough to use it for the theoretical "Diablo 4."
