'Devious Maids' season 4 spoilers: Would Peri's killer finally be revealed in season finale?

Rosie is sure that Spence didn't kill Peri. She is also convinced that someone is behind the murder, and she would stop at nothing until she proves her husband's innocence. However, will the identity of the killer be revealed before "Devious Maids" season 4 ends?

Last Monday's episode titled "Much Ado about Buffing" saw the friends – Zoila (Judy Reyes), Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez), Marisol (Ana Ortiz) – dealing with their individual issues. Nevertheless, the core of the episode is Rosie's (Dania Ramirez) quest to find out the truth about Peri's (Marina Klaveno) killer.

Rosie and Zoila cooked up a plan to break into Kyle's (Ryan McPartlin) house to steal Peri's initiation video when she joined The Circle. They think the video could be used as an incriminating evidence to pin Peri's killer. Rosie is bent on proving that Spence (Grant Show) is innocent. After all, even if Spence doesn't remember what happened the night Peri was killed, the facts that add up point to someone else as being behind the murder.

However, before they could break in and steal the video, Zoila discovered that Kyle and his mom have out in the middle of the night. The evidence they needed to clear Spence's name is gone, too.

Meanwhile, the tenth and final episode of "Devious Maids" season 4, which is titled "Grime and Punishment," would have Zoila uncovering a secret that could possibly help Rosie prove with conviction that Spence isn't guilty of Peri's death. As the promo video for the season 4 finale shows, Zoila might have found the footage of Peri's interview for The Circle, the same one Rosie thinks involved a confession that resulted in her death.

"Spence didn't kill Peri ... but I know who did," Rosie said in the promo.

Could Peri's killer have been Hugh Metzger (Sam McMurray), the man whom she described to her sister as the one who sexually assaulted her years before, the same Hollywood movie executive whom Genevieve (Susan Lucci) told Marisol raped her in the past?
