With one suspect down, Rosie seems to be closing in on Peri\'s real killer. | Devious Maids/Facebook
Another one bit the dust in episode 6 of "Devious Maids" season 4, and this death could have a bearing on Rosie's quest to find out who really killed Peri Westmore, something which Spence has been accused of.
During episode 6 titled "The Maid Who Knew Too Much," Genevieve (Susan Lucci) tried to join The Circle so she can help Rosie (Dania Ramirez) uncover the truth behind Peri's murder. Apparently, this elite group consisting of socialites knows something about Peri's death, and Rosie deduced that Peri's initiation confession, which was caught on tape much like Genevieve's, could reveal the reason why she was murdered.
Rosie shared the news with Spence (Grant Show), but he isn't interested anymore. Even Ben (Carlos Ponce) wants Rosie to stop snooping around because he seemed to be involved in the crime. It appears that Frances (Stephanie Faracy) had already warned Ben to stop Rosie from asking questions as the fate of The Circle depends on it.
Ben tried to run Rosie off the road in an effort to prevent her from probing and to appease his "cult mother," but Tucker Westmore (Carter Birchwell) was also in the car with Rosie and witnessed everything. Ben eventually learned about this as he was having tea with Frances.
"Tucker Westmore is the key to everything," were Frances' words to Ben as he choked on a poisonous drink. "I said not to disappoint me."
Now that Ben's dead, Rosie feels there's one less obstacle to her uncovering the truth and in the upcoming seventh episode titled "Blood, Sweat, and Smears," it seems she would make it her mission to look for Peri's initiation tape. If the synopsis for the episode is any indication, Rosie might be spot on with her theories, especially as it says, "Rosie discovers one of Peri's deepest secrets."
Meanwhile, Rosie's friends will be facing their own dramas in the upcoming episode. Marisol (Ana Ortiz) will be pining after Peter (James Denton) with who she broke up in episode 6 while Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) might find a new love.
"Devious Maids" season 4 episode 7 airs Monday, July 18, at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime. In the meantime, check out the promo clip for the episode below.
