Lifetime's comedy-drama series "Devious Maids" kicked off its fourth season earlier this month with a bang, and more twists are expected as the show progresses.

The upcoming episode will see some elements of romance and friendship, but ultimately a lot of fighting among characters. To give fans an idea of what's to come next week, the official synopsis for episode 3 titled, "War and Grease" reads:

"Genevieve takes her war on Marisol to new heights; Carmen attempts to befriend Daniela; Zoila and Frances grow closer; and Evelyn's plan for divorce is thwarted when Adrian cuts off her funding. Meanwhile, Rosie and Jesse must deal with a new visitor."

The previous episode saw Spence (Grant Show) coming forward to confess that he is indeed responsible for the murder of his former wife with a little push from Ben (Carlos Ponce). However, Ben seems to have other motives aside from helping Spence come clean, and Rosie (Dania Ramirez) is well aware of what he is trying to do. As seen in the promo clip, she claims that Ben is brainwashing Spence and that her husband's sponsor has a hidden agenda. Episode 3 will see Rosie make an effort to prove that Spence has nothing to do with Peri's (Mariana Klaveno) death and put the blame on Ben instead.

Meanwhile, Genevieve's (Susan Lucci) fight with Marisol (Ana Ortiz) takes a turn for the worse as they continue to butt heads over Peter (James Denton). Genevieve made it clear to Marisol that she doesn't want her friend having a relationship with her ex-husband Peter, but Marisol still chose to pursue her feelings for him. The socialite was outraged after learning about it, and she will do anything to get back at Marisol.

Keep tuning in to "Devious Maids" season 4 which airs every Monday night at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
