Destiny 'House of Wolves' Expansion Pack Release Date Latest: Features Trials of Osiris, Elimination Mode and Crucible Maps

Titled "House of Wolves," the second expansion pack for the "Destiny" game is set for release on May 19.
The expansion pack will introduce several new areas into the game including the Reef, which has already been revealed by developer Bungie.
The developer recently unveiled more information about the Trials of Osiris, Crucible Maps and the Elimination mode in a Twitch stream event.
The event was watched by thousands of gamers who witnessed professional gaming teams take on each other in the Trials of Osiris. More information was then released about "The Trials of Osiris" which the developer is hoping will make up for the expansion not having a raid. The Trials of Osiris is going to be a weekly event that will take place from Friday until Tuesday. To access it, players will have to purchase a Trials Passage from Brother Vance in the Reef.
Once in the Trials of Osiris, a player can only compete using the Elimination Mode by joining with two other players to form team who will then face off against another team with the same number of players. If a player dies during the match he can be brought back to life by a team member or he can revive himself if he is a Warlock and has the self-revive ability dubbed Fireborn.
As for the Crucible maps, there are three of them. Those using a PS4 console will get a fourth exclusive map. "Thieves Den" will focus on a hideout on Venus riddled with caves and populated by the Fallen. "Widow's Court" will feature an Earth-based Dead Zone. "Black Shield" will take players to a war base that is frequently used by the Cabal on Mars. The exclusive PS4 map is titled "Timekeeper" and is centered on a vertical clockwork structure on Mars.
Bungie said the Dark Below Crucible Maps will be available for free when "House of Wolves" is released. Even those who have purchased the main game and do not have any expansion pack will get access to the maps.
