'Destiny 2: Beyond Destiny' release date rumors and news: Second installment will come out early 2017?

Rumors have been circulating online with regard to a "Destiny" sequel, which will be titled as "Destiny 2: Beyond Destiny." According to reports, the upcoming second installment of this critically acclaimed video game will come out together with another rumored item, the Nintendo NX.
Rumor has it that both the Nintendo NX and "Destiny: Beyond Destiny" will be released in 2017. Nothing has been set in stone as of the moment, but fans believe that it only makes sense for them to be launched together as it will create so much media attention since both are highly anticipated by video game freaks.
The information came from a source, who happens to be really good at predicting video game related releases. The tipster claimed to have known first hand that Activision, "Destiny's" publisher, is interested in bringing the sequel to the rumored gaming console because of the latter's multiplayer capability.
Activision thinks that together with Nintendo, they can take advantage of each of their followers to create a much bigger audience for the NX and "Destiny 2." The source added that Activision and Nintendo are currently negotiating on their partnership. Activision is apparently trying their best to finish the project as soon as possible so that they can release the game early next year.
Meanwhile, the company has yet to provide any official comment with regard to the rumored sequel. However, rumors and speculations are already building up hype for the game. Another speculation suggests that the plot of the second installment will focus on Osiris.
While fans and critics are busy talking about "Destiny 2: Beyond Destiny," Bungie is busy polishing the next expansion of the original game. They have already confirmed that the new DLC will come out in the market on April 12, 2016.
