Dell XPS 15 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU promises premium performance without necessitating more power consumption

It seems like everyone is praising Dell's XPS 13 and XPS 15 laptops due to their super-thin bezels, allowing them to achieve a thin size. Tech enthusiasts, once again, are impressed by the news that the company is gearing up to include the Kaby Lake processors in the new lineup.
The Kaby Lake processor will tremendously improve the performance of the device without requiring too much power. Then came another news that a powerful Nvidia graphics card will be installed in the laptop, aside from the fingerprint scanner.
On the official website of Dell, a few details are given about the upcoming XPS 15 9560 notebook that will run on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics processing unit (GPU). However, following the craze about it, the company removed the device from its product listing. The current Dell XPS 9550 has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics card running under the hood.
Good thing it was already spotted before the company deleted the text about the device. Aside from the processor, GPU and a few specs, nothing is known about the device.
It is also believed that the Dell XP 15 will come out with three variants, according to the choice of processor. These are:
- Core i3-7100HQ
- Core i5-7300HQ
- Core i7-7700HQ
According to Liliputing, if any of these chips are equivalent to the Skylake counterparts, they will most possibly be at 45 watts. However, when combined with the graphics card, the device may need to use more power in order to perform.
Other reported specs include 32 GB of random-access memory (RAM), a whopping 1 TB of internal memory storage and a 3,840 x 2,160 touchscreen display.
As for the pricing and the release date, Dell has yet to announce those. It is expected that Dell XPS 15 will be announced during the CES 2017 or after the event. It can be recalled that the early XPS 15 models with Nvidia GTX 960M GPU are priced from £1,199 to £1,749 (about $1,474 to $2,150), depending on the specs.
