'Dark Souls 3' leaked four days ahead of its release date in Middle East

One of the most-awaited video games, "Dark Souls III" has been released in Japan last March and it is scheduled for a Westward release this April 12. However, reports say that the game was leaked in the Middle-East ahead of its official launch.
According to The Country Caller's sources in the Middle Eastern region, the game was leaked four days before the intended release. Local stores even advertise it openly, specially those in Dubai, Sharjah and nearby areas. This is not the first time that a video game was leaked in the area, because it is actually how the market there usually operates. Retailers take advantage of the customers who want to get the game earlier by charging unreasonably high prices. A retailer even said that if a game was leaked 10 days before its official release date, they can charge almost $30 on top of its selling price. "The retailer tells us that the premium price is simply because of the fact that users are able to play the game before everyone else around the world and in most cases, half of these early buyers end up finishing the game by its official release date and selling them in the local used games market," as noted by the publication..
Most hardcore franchise fans will do everything to get their hands on their favorite games, and "Dark Souls III" is not an exception for this. Gamers actually take advantage of the loopholes in the digital market just to have their very own copy the soonest. Having different release dates for the game per region is an issue that needs to be addressed, as noted by Inverse. Fans are used to popular games being released in Japan first (i.e. Dark Souls and Monster Hunter), but the delay does not leave them anything to be excited for. The limitations which the game tries to put actually seems "non-existent" with many Youtubers continuously posting content related to it, as if the game has been out for quite a long time.
"Dark Souls III" will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on April 12.
