'Dark Souls 3' guide 2016: How to beat the Abyss Watchers

A lot of fans have been clamoring for "Dark Souls 3," and now that it is finally here, the players can now explore the dark and mystical world of the game. However, there are a handful of tricky challenges and terrifying characters that the "Dark Souls" fans have to deal with first. People have waited for a long period of time to enjoy the game, but it should also be noted that a well-thought strategy and perseverance would be needed in order to go along with the game. Each day, there will be a new boss that the player should face, and the key ito defeating a formidable foe is through reading their moves and finding their weaknesses. Once things are already figured out, the player can now make his own strategy come into play and defeat the boss characters, one after another.

Perhaps one of the most difficult enemies to face in "Dark Souls 3" are the Abyss Watchers. They are the guardians of the Catacombs of Carthus and one of the five Lords of Cinder. As the hero of the game, the player is expected to defeat them. As risky as the player think this boss may be, there will always be a way to beat it without having to die each and every moment of the game.

iDigital Times offered some tips and tricks on how to take down these challenging enemies. First, upon engaging in a fight, the player must try to keep enough space between him and the Watcher. It should not be so far in order to send the blows, but it should not be so close for the Watcher to hit you. The player must take note of the Watcher's pattern of attacks during the fight. Once this is figured out, the player can now make his adjustments in approaching the boss and landing those critical blows to the enemy.

One the health bar of the Abyss Watchers is drained, a short cutscene will be shown and a much dangerous and "flame-enhanced" boss will emerge. The player must remember to dodge the attacks of the boss and keep the safe distance away from the enemy. Make a new strategy of attacks until the player is able to subdue the boss and drain his health bar.

This might be a difficult feat to do, but all it takes is a little perseverance and dedication to determine the attack pattern of the Abyss Watchers. However, this is just one of the many adversaries in the game.
