The Android (Zoie Palmer) finds herself in strange company while Three (Anthony Lemke) communicates with his former crew in the upcoming episode of hit science fiction drama "Dark Matter" season 2.

The title for this week's episode is "We Were Family," and it will tie some of the loose ends in the previous episode. To recap, last week's episode, titled "I've Seen The Other Side of You," featured a computer malfunction which led to the memories of Two, Three and Four to be reset. Three and Four began calling each other using their real names Marcus Boone and Ryo Tetsuda. It was later on revealed that Five knows more than the rest of the crew. Two pointed the gun at her and even though she managed to escape, they still found her and dragged her outside.

Episode 4's synopsis highlights separate events featuring Three and the Android. The official summary for the next episode reads:

"Three (Anthony Lemke) reconnects with his former crew while the Android (Zoie Palmer) finds herself in unique company."

In the promo trailer, Nero is having a serious talk with Three as he complains about not being trusted by anyone even though they all appear to be fine with "keeping a cop on-board."The building in Two's shared memory with Five was also seen, and it turns out to be the headquarters for Dwarf Star Technologies. The last moments of the clip show a mysterious old man raising a glass to Three, saying: "Welcome back, son."

A sneak peak was released as well and it gives ties the loose end of episode 3. The first seconds of the clip show a woman inside a cabin as she rushes to her son who is in his bed. A heated argument can be heard in another room, so she makes him hide inside a closet. Before closing the closet doors, the mother hands her son a rocket ship toy. The same toy was seen in Three's locker which confirms that he was the child in the flashback. A lot of commotion can be heard in the background, along with some gunshots and screaming. Shadowy footsteps approach the closet and an unidentified person opens the door.
