Netflix's hero series "Daredevil" season 2 came to a close last March with a massive cliffhanger, leading fans to be more than hyped for season 3.

In the final episode, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) finally unveiled his identity behind the mask to Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) which is a huge leap in their relationship. How will this affect the two of them?  Members of The Hand were also seen digging up Elektra's (Elodie Yung) dead body which made viewers curious as to what they will do with her. Additionally, Castle (Jon Bernthal) was also seen to be burning his family's home down after taking a CD with a "Micro" label on it.

Lead actor Charlie Cox was in Paris recently for a two-day Netflix event where he discussed the popular show. After a successful two-year run, the question everybody asks is if viewers will see the masked vigilante for a third season. "We don't know if there's going to be a season three," the actor admitted during the panel discussion. "I certainly don't know."

However, fans need not be sad because they can still see Daredevil as he teams up with three more popular Marvel characters: Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. According to the actor, the "Avengers"-style series titled "The Defenders" will start filming later this year.

"What we do know is at the end of this year we're going to be making The Defenders and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome," he said. "I have no idea what the storyline is going to be for that show. I'm very excited to see how those world's combine... and interested to see totally how those shows become one."

As fans wait for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen to return in "The Defenders" later this year, they can watch all the episodes in seasons 1 and 2 of "Daredevil" on Netflix.
