'Dancing with the Stars' 2014 Results: Winner Alfonso Ribeiro Makes History
"Dancing with the Stars" just aired its finale on Monday with Alfonso Ribeiro winning the title along with his professional dancing partner Witney Carson.

Ribeiro thus made history as he became the only male star to win the trophy after Donald Driver won it during the show's 14th season. The Hollywood Reporter notes that Ribeiro's victory was especially sweet as he suffered from multiple injuries during the show, which at one point threatened to sideline him.
Ribeiro later tweeted that he is going to be part of the upcoming tour which will also feature Sadie Robertson and her partner Mark Ballas, who placed second in the competition.
Following his victory, Ribeiro could not contain his excitement, telling ET Online that this was in the making for 10 years. He gave full credit to his partner Carson for his win, saying he would not have won without her coaching.
Ribeiro was formerly a member of the cast of the series titled "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
In the finale, he and Carson performed cha-cha, a dance described by many as "wild." At one point, Carson even kicked the Mirror ball trophy from the judges table and sent it flying. However, this didn't seem to affect the scoring and the judges awarded them 40 points.
After the final performances, the Ribeiro-Carson tandem and two other couples -- Janel Parrish/ Val Chmerkovskiy and Sadie Robertson/ Mark Ballas -- all ended up with perfect scores, which meant that it came down to the judges and viewers to decide the winners.
When Ribeiro and Carson were crowned the winners, it did not surprise many of the fans who reacted positively since they considered Ribeiro as a very energetic performer.
