Dance Moms news: Elite dance group leaving ALDC for Erin Babb's studio?

Trouble has been brewing within the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC). In the past few episodes, viewers have seen the ALDC mentor favor a few junior dancers over the elite team. But recently, fans of the show saw Abby Lee Miller sabotage the studio's elite dance group. Rumor has it that the elite dance team will be heading over to a rival dance studio.
According to reports, the eighth episode of the sixth season titled "Two Teams, Two Studios Part 1," will feature Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, Nia Frazier and Brynn Rumfallo leaving ALDC. After their mentor's neglect for the elite squad, the dancers and their mothers will reportedly be transferring to Erin Babbs' studio.
The elite dancers opted to ditch the choreography Miller organized for the group since they believed it wouldn't make them a contender in the competition. The dancers shared the same sentiments with their moms, so they decided to go with a routine they did for a shoe commercial filmed earlier in the week.
Although the head mentor was seen approving the latest routine, she was later on caught sabotaging the dancers' plans. Since the new routine required a new lineup, Miller asked extra dancers to join the squad.
However, in a closed room, she told the competition director that she didn't approve of the new lineup. Miller even urged the director to disqualify the group from the competition. When the mothers were informed by the director about the issue, Miller straight out denied that she attempted to disqualify the group. Eventually, the truth came out.
The team got to perform their dance, but the mothers were disappointed and frustrated with Miller's actions. Jill Vertes, mother of Kendall, could be heard saying, "I think our time here is done. I have so much respect for these girls. They're done. They made Abby a household name. And she's treating them like dirt."
The sixth season of "Dance Moms" airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
