Despite cancellation rumors surrounding "Dance Moms," Abby Lee Miller confirmed that the reality series will go on for a seventh season.

Through her Instagram account, Miller announced that season 7 is underway. She posted a photo of a fortune cookie with a caption which reads: "Look ahead in the next month for a new beginning #dancemoms #season7." Miller shared another post dated July 20 with a caption saying how much excited she is for the upcoming season. "Sooooo there is going to be a Season 7! When the show 1st started many people were skeptical, others hated. I just kept doing what I've always done —made kids that I believed in & cared about even more successful!" the caption reads.

The Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) founder also used her social network profile to announce that auditions will be held on Aug. 13, Saturday. The venue will be at the New York Marriott in Brooklyn, and a world-class dance instructor will be hosting the event. However, the instructor's name is yet to be confirmed by Miller.

On another note, the popular Ziegler sisters Maddie and Mackenzie recently caught up with Today to share their thoughts after deciding to leave the reality show. The two admitted that it was a difficult choice to make, but they knew that it was a wise career move. "As much as it was sad, it was the best thing we've ever decided on," Maddie said. "We loved the shows...but we want to go and do other things," Mackenzie added. There were speculations that they will come back for season 7 but based on their statements, it seems that a comeback is far from happening.

The sisters are currently residing on opposite coasts but despite the distance, Maddie said that her sister's music helps them to feel closer to each other. "Her new songs that no one has heard yet, I play them all the time. I love them," Maddie said, referring to Mackenzie's unreleased singles.

The network has yet to announce a premiere date for "Dance Moms" season 7.
